Congratulations Nick Davies!
Nick Davies of The Guardian won the 2011 Paul Foot Award this evening for his work in exposing hacking by News Of The World. Runners up were Jonathan Calvert and Claire Newell of The Sunday Times.  Hurray for investigative journalism!

The Tube: BBC Two
Just finished watching the first episode of this six part docu series on the London Underground. I love the tube.  I enjoy riding it, I enjoy everything about it.  So, this documentary is wonderful to me. I’m really over seeing gifs with those ‘instagram’ and ‘hipstagram’ effects added to them. They aren’t creative or fancy. They just look like poor quality gifs. Don’t wash the photo out.
